Laura Ann Tull posted a series of messages on Threads in the days following Eric Dane’s February 19, 2026 death, turning a long-running personal grievance into a renewed public dispute. Tull, described as a former background performer on Grey’s Anatomy, accused Dane of bullying her during her time around the production.
In her posts, Laura Ann Tull alleged she was mocked on set, discussed behind her back and harmed in ways she says affected her career and personal life for years. She wrote that the alleged conduct occurred during a period when she said she had beaten cancer and later became ill with an autoimmune disease and argued that Dane’s death did not change the impact she claims it had.
Tull also claimed she was responsible for Dane being fired, alleging she contacted Shonda Rhimes’ assistant two weeks before his termination was announced. However, no public confirmation has been provided by ABC, Shondaland, or Dane’s representatives.
A structural detail in the dispute is that Tull has said she never spoke to Dane directly, while still alleging harm tied to what she claims he said and did. The accusations were also referenced years earlier in a June 2018 Medium essay.
