Lamar Odom Netflix Documentary Trailer Details

Lamar Odom returns to the spotlight in Netflix’s sports documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, introduced in a trailer released March 3, 2026. The preview revisits the 2015 incident in which Lamar Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada and includes Odom saying he experienced “12 strokes and six heart attacks” connected to that event.

The film also revisits Lamar Odom’s relationship with Khloé Kardashian, noting they married in 2009 after about a month of dating. The documentary says they first met in 2009 at a party hosted by Odom’s then-teammate Ron Artest, now known as Metta Sandiford-Artest, who appears in the project. Although they were estranged at the time of the 2015 crisis, Kardashian is shown describing going to Lamar Odom’s hospital bedside and staying while he was comatose on life support.

Kardashian describes a pattern during their marriage in which Lamar Odom would escape rehab, disappear during drug binges and she felt responsible for covering up and protecting him. The reporting frames that secrecy as a central relationship dynamic, with an official synopsis pointing to hidden pressures and pivotal decisions leading up to the 2015 incident. The documentary is scheduled to premiere March 31 and is described as not a romantic reunion.
